Help shape the next chapter of one of Liverpool’s most exciting neighbourhoods.
Calling planners and architects! Are you passionate about the regeneration of Liverpool? If so, we may have just the Board role for you!
We’re looking for two new Board Members with planning and architectural expertise to help shape the physical and green regeneration of Liverpool’s Fabric District.
The Fabric District has long been one of Liverpool’s hidden gems. Just moments from the city centre, it is being rediscovered and reimagined by a new wave of entrepreneurs, established developers and long-standing local businesses.
Founded in 2017, the Fabric District CIC is driving the regeneration of Liverpool’s London Road and Islington areas, creating a place where business, culture and community thrive. Named one of The Sunday Times’ Best Places to Invest in 2025, the area is full of promise and opportunity.
Now we want to build on that momentum. From protecting heritage buildings and improving streets and public spaces to encouraging thoughtful development, physical and green regeneration will help make the district a greener, more welcoming place to live, work and visit.
This is where you come in. We’re looking for one Board Member with a planning background and up-to-date experience of planning legislation and good practice, and another with architectural experience. Both will join our Physical and Green Regeneration Pillar Group, a sub-group of the Board, with one also taking on the role of Chair.
You’ll bring your expertise and ideas to help guide the area’s development, working with fellow Board Members and local stakeholders to turn our shared vision into practical improvements.
If you’re passionate about regeneration and Liverpool’s future, this is your chance to make a lasting impact. We have no staff, so our Board Members and stakeholders take an active role in making things happen. The commitment is around one day a month, offering the chance to work with a dedicated team shaping the Fabric District’s next chapter.
